EdAlive Server stops working when you exit remote desktop

This happens when you install the EdAlive server on a Windows Server via remote desktop. It is caused by Microsoft Security features in the operating system that stop a program from running which has been installed in a remote desktop session.

To overcome this you need to install the EdAlive Server using Remote Desktop for Administration. This will connect to a command line version of your server. Once the EdAlive Server is installed from here, you will no longer experience the issue. The Microsoft documentation for doing this is available at the link below:
