To resolve this issue, try the following suggestions.
Possible Solution A
Run the program in compatibility mode.

Open the QuickTime Player and select “Preferences” from the “Edit” menu. Under “Video Change” on the “Advanced” tab, make sure “Safe Mode (GDI)” is selected.
