On a Windows computer, there isn’t any sound present when using the program.

Spelling Force requires two codecs to be installed for the sounds to work. Check to see that the “Microsoft IMA ADPCM” and “Microsoft ADPCM” codecs are installed. These codecs may be available online or can be installed from your Windows installation CD.
